RV Things: A Travelers Guide

what to do, see, eat, and ponder

For the beginner or experienced RVer, this RV Travelers Guide will add to your list of must-see and do’s, inspire your creativity, get you thinking differently, and become your RVing adventure go-to guidebook.

In May 2000 I turned my back on what I’d been fed as the American Dream and launched into life as a full-time RVer. I’ve never looked back. Throughout my many years on the road I’ve seen technicolor sunsets in the Florida Keys, splashed through The Narrows in Zion National Park, watched dolphins jump and jellyfish swim alongside the ferry carrying me and my fifth-wheel to Port Aransas, learned new RV kitchen tips from farmers and local food lovers, and walked in the footsteps of great presidents, architects, and philanthropists.

You can, too. Make my RV adventures your own. The open road is calling your name!

That’s the beauty of RVing. Whether you are a full-timer, digital nomad, part-timer, or weekend warrior, you will never run out of things to do, see, eat, and ponder. This book is a collection of my personal experiences and ideas that you can make your own.

Inside you'll discover:

Cool RV Things to Do

Lux up your RV's interior, give a gift of hand created kindness, keep track of your travels in a most unique way.

Interesting RV Things to See

Sweeten up at fab fruit fests, find a champion tree, tour historic homes, check out "secret" National Parks.

Delicious RV Things to Eat

Chocolate, sandwiches, a culinary pharmacy and more tasty tidbits.

Important RV Ideas to Ponder

Develop your personal RV pyramid, hone your map skills, benefit from what I've learned, define your American Dream.

RV Things: A Travelers Guide is the perfect road trip companion.

About Me

Full-time RVer. Curious explorer. Creative. RV Cooking Show producer/host. Expert naviagator and pretty good backer-in-er. Fresh food lover. Coffee snob. Killer griller. Yep, that's me.

I left corporate America and became an RVing digital nomad before the term was even a glint in a marketers' eye. In the 20 years since, I've traveled to and through all four corners of the country, north and south, east, west, and diagonally in search of adventure and experiences.

Some of the more memorable?  The Sunday morning gospel service at Saint John Will I Am Coltrane African Orthodox Church in San Francisco; the epic beauty of Frank Lloyd Wright's Falling Water in Pennsylvania; the guitar room at Sweetwater in Fort Wayne, Indiana; and the Texas grocery store produce manager's pico de gallo recipe that I still use to this day.

And like all good RVers, I'm big on sharing. That's what this book is all about.
Have a read, live out loud, and pass along your newfound knowledge.

See you on the road, campers!
